  • OmSai- ‘Shri Ram Navami Utsav 2011’

Dear Sai Devotees,

By Baba’s grace, SHITAL (Shirdi Saibaba Temple Association of London) is delighted to announce ‘Shri Ram Navami Utsav 2011’and its events schedule for 11th & 12th April 2011.

The Ramnavami celebration observes the birth of Lord Rama, and is one of the most auspicious days in the Vaishnav calendar. Ramnavami is a Hindu festival, celebrating the birth of Lord Rama, son of King Dasharatha of Ayodhya, and a divine figure in Hinduism who is believed to be the seventh incarnation of Lord Vishnu.

In the year 1911, Ramanavami was first celebrated and the idea had originated from the Urus. It continues to be celebrated uninterrupted to this day and 2011 remarks the 100th anniversary of the Ramnavami Celebrations.

Hence, we cordially invite you all along with your loved ones to join us in celebrating these historic moments of Ramnavami Celebrations on both the days i.e. Monday 11th April & Tuesday 12th April.
