Om Sri Sai Ram!

With the blessings and grace of our Divine Lord Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, we are delighted to announce the 3rd Sai Smaran Bhajans which will take place in the New Year. This will be a National offering of our gratitude in the form of Bhajans (devotional singing) to our Beloved Bhagawan, and gives us the wonderful opportunity to begin 2013 with the Lords name on our lips.
The day will be spent in singing, in listening, in remembering and contemplating upon Him so that we are filled with His Love and Blessings. Let us all join together and offer a garland of our Love and Gratitude on this day.

Date: Saturday 12th January 2013
Time: 11:00 – 17:00 (followed by Maha Prashadam)
Venue: Oxhey Wood Primary School, Oxhey Wood, South Oxhey, Watford, WD19 7SL

Please register your attendance on the link below:

“The Scriptures lay down Bhajan (group devotional singing), Naamasmaran (Remembering God’s Name) and Sankeerthan (devotional music) as the Saadhanas (spiritual practices) of this Age. Bhajan is the process of singing your prayers to God, praising His glory and compassion, and pleading that He may fill you with His Grace.”
– Sri Sathya Sai Speaks Vol 11, 37

“Realize that there is nothing greater than bhajans. What bliss is there in bhajans? What a demonstration of oneness is it when a myriad throats join in uttering the name of God? The vibrations emanating from them make the heart vibrant. If you sing alone in your shrine, the vibrations return to you as reaction. But in community singing, what you have is not a reaction but a wave of vibrations. They enter into the atmosphere and purify the polluted air. The atmosphere today is polluted by bad thoughts and feelings. When you sing the glory of God, the bad germs in the air are destroyed and the air gets purified by a treatment with antibiotics as it were. Bhajans are therefore supremely valuable.”
– Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, Divine Discourse, October 23 1994

We wish you and your families a very Holy New Year and look forward to welcoming you in 2013.
